Agave schidigera 'Shira ito no Ohi'

Agave schidigera 'Shira ito no Ohi' is a small agave that stays small if kept in a smaller pot. Plant is called 'Shira ito no Ohi' which means Queen of White Thread in Japanese (白い糸の女王). This plant is best kept indoors where temperatures go below 25F but this small plant is well suited for it. Plants want fast draining soil and should be kept dry in winter time. If planted in the landscape it can reach 20" wide and 18" tall, but these plants are very slow growing.
