Agave 'Chihuahuan Hombre' Havardiana x Neomexicana

Agave 'Chihuahuan Hombre' is a hybrid made by me of Agave havardiana Glass Mts form and my very high elevation Cloudcroft Agave neomexicana. Both plants are from I think the coldest locations. Both have taken -22F in my garden and I think this hybrid can take the same or more. It also may be more winter wet hardy for you eastern growers. Some plants have rough skin and some have smooth skin, seems to be a good amount a varaince in this hybrid. Worth trying in your gardens.
