Agave 'Ripple Effect'

Agave 'Ripple Effect' is a variegated cultivar of Agave 'Mr Ripple'.  The non-variegated Agave 'Mr Ripple' has taken down to single digits for us and done qute well. Our thinking is this variegated cultivar may take to 10F but you would really need to try this on you own. Plants are in 3.5" pots (shipped bare-root) and really starting to grow. Worth trying if you live in a zone 7 or even a zone 6b if you feel like wrapping the plant up for winter.  
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
