Agave stricta

Agave stricta is not cold hardy below mid 20's. But they stay small if kept in pots and can really get some nice color with 6+ hours of sunlight. Definately one of the more unusual Agave in the genus. The main downside to this species is it grows very slow so if you do have it in a pot, you dont have to worry about repotting it tomorrow. Give it good drainage and a window in winter and you will be able to grow this easy plant.
