Agave toumeyana ssp. toumeyana Nr. Camp Verde, AZ 3500ft

Agave toumeyana ssp. toumeyana is a miniature agave compared to most in the genus. Single stems reach 8" in length and with offsets it will reach 20" across. This plant has taken -11F in Colorado and -2F several times, plants did receive some tip damage at -11F. Once established this should be a very hardy plant.
 
Seed for these plants were collected near Strawberry, AZ at 6000ft. This population is a wider-leaved than other populations but they do fill out nicely.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
