Aloinopsis schooneesii (MG 1316)

Aloinopsis schooneesii (MG 1316)

Aloinopsis schooneesii is probably number #2 on the most cold hardy species of aloinopsis just behind A. spathulata. However if you like peebles that bloom this is your plant. When they are seedlings they can have a lithop appearance. Plants have taken -17F in our garden and is one of the most hardy species of Mesemb. Well worth owning even if you just want it for a pot. Plants primarily have yellow flowers but a few will ocasionly spit out orange or red. (MG1316)

I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
