Coryphantha recurvata Santa Cruz co., AZ

Coryphantha recurvata is a species from southern Arizona along the Mexico border. These plants can be Giants. Stems can get 10" across and mound. Our plants have taken 2F without damage in our garden but it has not been cold enough to get better data. Plants have survived in Albuquerque taking sigle digits and being below freezing for a full week. These will more than likely be good to a zone 6 temps but it is still unknown. Good drainage is required on these bowling balls.

I do not guarantee these in a zone 6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
