Cylindropuntia davisii Chimayo, NM 6000ft
Cylindropuntia davisii or Clubbed Cholla is a very spiny cholla that can get 5ft tall but is usually no more than 3ft. These are cold hardy in Colorado and can tolerate -22F or maybe more. The plants flower in June or July. This is from the furthest north location.
We are selling unrooted cuttings. You will get more than enough to get these in your yard.
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
