Cylindropuntia imbricata 'Bubble Gum'

Cylindropuntia imbricata 'Bubble Gum' is our native Tree Cholla or Walking Stick. Plants have Bubble Gum Pink flowers with greenish interiors. The original plant is from Pueblo, Colorado. Plants should be zone 5 for cold hardiness as the area historically got to -25F but in summer reaches temperatures of 110F. This plant has performed well for us but is best if pruned at the base to encourage a strong upright growth. Plants generally bloom from May-July. Plants for sale are Large stem cuttings.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
