Cylindropuntia x anasaziensis 'Yellow Form'

Cylindropuntia x anasaziensis is a plant associated with anasazi sites in the 4-corners area and is commonly mistaken as Cylindropuntia x viridiflorus. However this plant has many different taxonomic differences. Plants can reach 4ft tall and 3ft wide. This plant blooms more aggresively than any other species of cholla. Flowering can occur once plants are 1ft tall and will be from May-July depending on weather and moisture. Plants are zone 5 maybe even a zone 4 as this form came from SW colorado where it gets lots of snow and cold. Plants are well rooted 3" pots.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 4/5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze. 
 
"Winter Dormant" Plants have been kept outside under an unheated greenhouse and can be shipped bare-root without heat packs as long as temperatures are above 10F in your area. Would still wait to plant in spring to adapt better to your garden.
