Delosperma Alan's Apricot

Delosperma Alan's Apricot is a fast growin Iceplant that has become very known amongst gardeners. This groundcover can reach 24" across and is a prolific bloomer. Good drainage helps with the longevity of the plant. Overall this plant is an easy to grow plant than can be an an accent or showcase in the garden.
 
This was a Colorado Plant Select winner in 2016, listed as a zone 5. The only downside to these plants are they do not like extended periods of hot temperatures above 110F. Depending on temperatures plants will be shipped potted.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
