Echinocereus adustus var. schwarzii L1305

Echinocereus adustus var. schwarzii L1305

Echinocereus adustus is a small mountain dwelling species of echinocereus from northern Mexico. This is from plants we crossed in our garden. We have had plants for the last 10 years or more, they have survived -17F but they are smaller plants that have a special niche in the garden. Perfect for a crevice garden. These plants get large Fuschia Pink flowers that are pollinated by hummingbirds.

I do not guarantee these in a zone 4/5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
