Echinocereus fendleri ssp. kunzleri

Echinocereus fendleri kunzleri or Kunzler's Hedgehog Cactus is another very cold hardy species of Cactus. We offer seed grown plants from Sacramento Mts, NM. Seed was provided by Steve Brack. We have had plants in our garden from this location for 25 years and they have taken -22F and some serious cold.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
