Echinocereus fendleri Trementina, NM 4600ft

Echinocereus fendleri or Sitting Cactus is another very cold hardy species of Cactus. We offer seed grown plants from Trementina, NM. This form gets larger than any of the other locations we hae grown. We have had plants in our garden from this location for 5 years and they have taken -17F and some serious cold. This is one of th furthest east locations and it regularly gets monsoon moisture.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
