Echinocereus knippleanus var. reyesii 3000m Dr. Arroyo, NL, MX

Echinocereus knippleanus var. reyesii from near Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo Leon, MX at 3000 meters (9,842.5 ft) Plants have taken -18F in our garden but really the threat is summer heat with this species. They grow in grassy meadows with pines nearby, so they do not like extreme heat and full sun. These are 1 year old seedlings that range from quarter size to 50 cent size. This location is very hard to get seed from and has been one of the best growers for me.
