Echinocereus triglochidiatus - Mt Blanca, Colorado 8,000ft

Echinocereus triglochidiatus - Mt Blanca, Colorado 8,000ft is from a very harsh area. Just uphill from the driest part of Colorado where they receive 4" of precipitation. These plants grow in prehistoric cobble from Mt Blanca. The area is very exposed and the PJ in the area is shoulder height. So this is a very bright and hostile place. Plants from here I would think to be zone 4 if you have drier winters. Very worth trying if you live north of Colorado. Try at your own risk.

We share our experiences to help with your own trials of cold hardiness. We do not guarantee these plants in any garden or zone. Every garden is different and everyones growing conditions are different. Please try plants at your own risk, I do not want to be misleading to anyone.
