Echinocereus triglochidiatus - Mt Blanca, Colorado 8,000ft

Echinocereus triglochidiatus - Mt Blanca, Colorado 8,000ft is from a very harsh area. Just uphill from the driest part of Colorado where they receive 4" of precipitation. These plants grow in prehistoric cobble from Mt Blanca. The area is very exposed and the PJ in the area is shoulder height. So this is a very bright and hostile place. Plants from here I would think to be zone 4 if you have drier winters. Very worth trying if you live north of Colorado. Try at your own risk. Plants are 50 cent sized and still growing. Pictured is what is for sale.
