Echinocereus triglochidiatus x E. reichenbachii
Echinocereus triglochidiatus x E. reichenbachii is a hybrid made from Echinocereus triglochidiatus (mother plant) from San Luis, CO and Echinocereus reichenbachii perbellus from Pueblo, CO. So this plant should be a zone 4b or maybe even colder. Flowers range from deep red to pinks but all have a light purple center. Both plants have proven hardy in a zone 5 and San Luis gets to zone 4. Very nice plant that is similar to a different hybrid we offered in the passed of Echinocereus coccineus and E. reichenbachii. However I know this hybrid does get clumping.
I do not guarantee these plants in a Zone 4/5/6 but it should be tried.
