Echinocereus viridiflorus fma cylindricus

Echinocereus viridiflorus forma cylindricus comes from southern New Mexico and west Texas. This plant starts out as typical Echinocereus viridiflorus seedlings and eventually grow long central spines. Plants were grown from mostly yellow/red spined plants. Seed came from near Cloudcroft at over 8000ft.
 
Plants have taken -22F for us with no problems in colorado. We are growing it in a well drained rock garden. Should be one of the more cold-hardy varieties of Green Pitaya.
