Echinocereus x lloydii - Ft Stockton, TX

Echinocereus x lloydii from Ft stockton, TX is one of the most cold hardy locations for lloydii. Plants are a natural hybrid between echinocereus dasyacanthus and echinocereus coccineus. Plants should all have flowers similar to what is pictured. Usually 3 year old plants flower. These are 18 months old and should take off. These have taken -17F in our garden but really this plant is more like a dry zone 6 plant.
