Graptopetalum rusbyi Pima county, AZ 5500ft

Graptopetalum rusbyi is commonly called Arizona Leather Petal. This ghostly little succulent is a good candidate for a zone 6 garden if you can keep it in a protected location. It does not like huge amounts of sun and is commonly growing under scrub in the wild. These make really nice container plants and are pretty easy to grow if kept on the dry side. Plants will be single stems and starter plants.

I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
