Grusonia emoryi New Mexico Form
Grusonia emoryi is a large club cholla that reaches 18" tall x 36" wide at maturity. Plant segments do not easily detach but the spines are extremely sharp. The flowers range from yellow to peach. Very difficult to grow and cold hardy to around 0F maybe more. The original cutting of this plant came from near Virdin, NM. Give plants excellent drainage and enjoy.
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
