Kniphofia 'Orange Blaze' Hot Poker

Kniphofia 'Orange Blaze' is a new Hot Poker cultivar, quite a showy one too. Bright BRIGHT BRIGHT orange flowers open on 1 to 3ft flower spikes. The beautiful flowers are produced above a large succulent grass clump of foliage and blooms for many weeks beginning in early to midsummer. Plants are well suited for climates that get 15 inches of precipitation or better. In climates getting less than that it is suggested you water these nice plants. Kniphofia are from the highlands of the free country of Lesotho in southern Africa. These plants are in 4" tall pots, they will be shipped bare root and the stems may be bent in shipping. These plants handle transplanting quite well. See photos for actual plants you will be buying. 
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
