Mammillaria heyderi Vail, AZ

Mammillaria heyderi  is a semi-cold hardy plant from southern Arizona and New Mexico. The seed for this plant was collected near Vail, AZ. These have taken -11F for us but they were in a very protected location. These bloom whie-cream in early spring and get a deep taproot like a turnip. Only a few available this time.
