Yucca baccata x Yucca elata

Yucca baccata x Yucca elata is a hybrid created at our nursery. It is halfway between both parents and seems to be quicker growing than both parents. Wider leaved than elata but also cupped leaves like baccata and a few marginal hairs. We have very few of these in supply and will be gone quickly. Both parents have taken -22F so we would think it would be just as good. Several people have reported back of their plants surviving winters in Idaho and Iowa. Plants available are in 3" pots
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
