Yucca schidigera

Yucca schidigera aka the Mojave Yucca has proven quite hardy taking cold temperatures in Colorado and Utah. It has survived in our Pueblo garden taking -17F, however a friend of ours killed a large tree at -16F but it was from a different location. Just want to be open about chances with this species. Our seed source is from the north lake of the Pahrahnagat valley in Nevada.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
